Studio Talent

Greg Amsinger (Anchor/Reporter, CSTV Primetime) – a St. Louis native, Greg was most recently the Sports Director at WTHI-TV (CBS) in Terre Haute, IN…served as a producer/reporter for powerhouse KMOX radio in St. Louis…finalist for the 2000 IRTS National Collegiate Play-by-Play award.

Billy Baldwin (Host, Retrovision) – actor in more than twenty-three feature films including Backdraft and Sliver…previous TV experience includes a stint as narrator on “VH1:  Legends”…brothers Alec, Stephen and Daniel are also feature film actors…former high school wrestler.

Mike Crispino (Anchor/Reporter, CSTV Football Saturday) – host of New Jersey Nets and New York Islanders broadcasts for MSG Network in NYC...For the past two years, he has called the play-by-play action for Bridgeport (N.J.) Bluefish games (Atlantic Baseball League) on Cablevision TV and WICC Radio...Mike has won several awards while working as a television sports director, handling television play-by-play work and hosting a radio talk show.

Kelley King (Analyst/Reporter, Crystal Ball, Saturday Football Show) – Sports Illustrated’s College Football beat writer in addition to covering other various sports…has been at the magazine for the past four years…previously served as a feature writer for Philadelphia Magazine.

Derrick Mayes – (Analyst, Notre Dame Primetime) - former standout Notre Dame (’96) wide receiver who ranks first in season and career touchdown receptions for the Fighting Irish…played six seasons in the NFL, for the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks… won a Super Bowl ring with the Packers…provided color commentary for CNN-SI and the YES Network.

Sid Rosenberg (Host, Crystal Ball) – host of “Mac and Sid,” weekdays from 10AM-1PM on WFAN radio in NYC…also a contributor to the nationally syndicated “Imus in the Morning” show…native of Brooklyn…previously worked at WNEW-FM and CBS Sportsline and spent time on-air in Florida..

Steve Schlanger (Host, Notre Dame Primetime) – Play-by-Play voice, Anchor and Reporter for Fox Sports Net…has served as studio host for St. Louis Blues hockey, St. Louis Rams football as well as non-sports formats (Discovery Network)…also writes for various TV programs.

Aaron Taylor (Analyst, Crystal Ball, Saturday Football Show) - two-time first-team All-America offensive lineman at Notre Dame (’94)…winner of the Lombardi Award in 1993 as the nation’s top collegiate lineman…drafted 16th overall in 1994 NFL Draft…member of 1997 Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers…starred at national powerhouse De La Salle High School in Concord, CA.

Scott Zolak (Analyst, Crystal Ball, Saturday Football Show) – former standout QB at University of Maryland (’91)…finished college career as top 10 all-time Terrapins passer despite starting only one season…. nine-year NFL veteran (Patriots, Dolphins, Jets)…currently an NFL analyst in Boston on WBZ-TV (CBS), Fox Sports New England, WEEI Radio, and NECN.

Adam Zucker (Anchor/Reporter, CSTV Primetime) – most recently the weekend sports anchor at WBRE-TV (NBC) in Scranton, PA…previously worked at WTVH-TV (CBS) in Syracuse, NY…while in Syracuse, also served as host and sideline reporter for Orangemen Radio Network.

Football:

Mindi Bach (Sideline Reporter) – currently a sports reporter/anchor for KPIX-TV (CBS) and Fox Sports Net in San Francisco…UCLA grad…captained of UCLA Women’s Swim Team…Golden Key National Scholar.

Carter Blackburn (Play-by-Play) – most recently a play-by-play voice/host on the ISP Radio Network in Winston Salem, NC…at ISP, provided game calls for ACC and SEC events…previously worked at play-by-play voice/host for the Syracuse Radio Network.

Paul Greene (Sideline Reporter) – served as sports director at WPXT-TV and WPME-TV in Portland, Maine…has worked in New England on both radio and television for the past 14 years…also works for Octagon (sports management) and provides media training for Olympic athletes.

Chris Miller (Sideline Reporter) – Sports Director at WEWS-TV (ABC) in Cleveland…previously served in the same capacity at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids…while in Iowa, served ESPN Regional as a football sideline reporter.

Glenn Parker (Analyst) – former standout offensive lineman at the University of Arizona (’89)…12-year NFL Veteran (Giants, Bills, Chiefs)…member of five Super Bowl teams…also serves as a studio analyst for NBC Sports (Arena Football) and the NFL Network…native of Huntington Beach, CA…wine connoisseur and gourmet chef…enjoys Harley Davidson motorcycles.

 

Jon Sciambi (Play-by-Play) - radio voice of the World Champion Florida Marlins baseball team...has been with the Marlins since 2001. Also provides play-by-play for Westwood One Radio. Native New Yorker...nickname is "Boog".

 

Hockey:

 

Eric Frede (Play-by-Play) - New England native and Boston broadcast veteran...also serves as reporter and anchor for NESN and Fox Sports New England. Veteran of Hockey East and NCAA Playoff Hockey broadcasts. Also calls New England Revolution, Boston Breakers and America East basketball telecasts and appears on Boston Celtics broadcasts. Has received several honors and awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting.

 

Mike Eruzione (Analyst) - Captain of the gold medal winning U.S. Hockey Team at 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid...Inductee into the Olympic Hall of Fame, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, National Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame, and Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame...Captained BU his senior year and finished as one of school's all-time leading scorers. Currently serves as BU's Director of Development for Athletics.

 

Billy Jaffe (Analyst) - Veteran of CCHA games, having played college hockey for Michigan, served as an on-ice official for the League, and having broadcast numerous CCHA games, including the 2001 Cold War game between Michigan and Michigan State. In his fourth season as a member of the Atlanta Thrashers broadcast team.

 

Dave Starman (Analyst) - Long-time coach and instructor at nearly every level of hockey...recently head coach for the Memphis RiverKings (CHL), and currently the head coach of the New York Junior Bobcats of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League...former collegiate goaltender (University of Hartford)...past broadcast experience includes work on N.Y. Rangers and Islanders radiocasts.

 

Ellen Weinberg-Hughes (Analyst/Reporter) - Former ECAC hockey player...has worked extensively for ESPN and the NCAA, providing commentary and sideline reports at events such as the Women's Frozen Four, the Women's College Cup, the ESPN Regional Game of the Week, and WUSA's New York Power games.

 

Adam Wodon (Studio Analyst/Reporter) - Longtime college hockey guru...also serves as US College Hockey Online columnist and provides Play-by-Play for Cornell Men's Hockey...former voice of Princeton Tigers Hockey...1992 graduate of Ithaca College.

 

Soccer:

 

Tisha Venturini-Hoch (Analyst) -  Four-time All-America soccer player at North Carolina (’95)…won four NCAA National Championships with the Tarheels…national player of the year in 1994 and MVP of ’94 NCAA Tourney…member of 1996 World Cup-winning U.S. National Team... just retired from the WUSA after three seasons with the San Jose. CyberRays…nickname is “Tish".
 

Volleyball:

Heather Cox (Analyst) – played four years on the University of Pacific (’92) women’s volleyball team… was a member of the United States National Volleyball Program, competing at the United States Olympic Festival in 1990…team captain of the Sacramento Stars of the National Volleyball Association professional volleyball league from 1993 to 1995…also serves as an analyst and sideline reporter for basketball, soccer and football for ESPN, Turner, Fox Sports Net and Oxygen.

Kevin Eschenfelder (Play-by-Play) – currently an anchor, sideline reporter and play-by-play voice for Fox Sports Southwest on football, volleyball and basketball…started his career as a statistician for Home Sports Entertainment (HSE) in Houston – HSE later merged with Fox.

Chris Marlowe (Play-by-Play/Analyst) - Starting setter on San Diego State University’s 1973 NCAA Championship volleyball team…captain of the gold medal winning United States Olympic Volleyball team in 1984… 25-year announcing career….has called everything from volleyball and soccer to cliff-diving, poker and wind surfing…has called four consecutive Olympic telecasts on NBC…provides play-by-play and analysis for ESPN and Fox Sports Net…also lettered four years in basketball at SDSU.

Leandra Reily (Play-by-Play/Analyst) – former collegiate volleyball player at Southern Illinois…veteran broadcaster who has covered a wide array of sports for outlets such as ESPN, Turner and Lifetime…became the first woman in history to provide television play-by-play of an NBA game on February 14, 1988 when she called Nets vs. Pacers.
