Rainy Day Followed by 36 Holes

Redshirt sophomore Kaitlin Voll, will be serving as the Ole Miss women's golf blogger this weekend. She will be sharing some behind-the-scenes moments as the team opens the spring season at the AllState Sugar Bowl Classic in New Orleans.

The definition of a frittata is an egg-based Italian dish that is similar to an omelet. The vegetable frittata was the main dish for breakfast the morning of the first round that ended up getting canceled due to storms. That morning we all learned that Taelor has a phobia of frittatas. We call it frittataphobia!

On our day of our canceled round we went to the famous Cafe Du Monde and ate our body weight in beignets and powder sugar! Totally worth it! I'm pretty sure each one was 520 calories and we averaged 4.5 a person!  (You do the math:)

We woke up this morning at 5 a.m. for our second round knowing we are to play 36 holes and make up Round 1. The girls had the passion and determination today. I saw it in everyone's eyes! Due to the driving range being basically underwater, each player only had 12 balls to warm up with. We did our dynamic warm up and took many practice swings! As a team there were many birdies to go round! The energy was fantastic and so many great golf shots!

We ended up at Sun ray Grill for dinner and after dinner we are headed back to the room to do stats and prep work for tomorrow! We're looking to finish strong with only 18 holes tomorrow.

Good night Rebel Fans!

I am not and never have been an Ole Miss fan. I am however a Coach Freeze fan. I like what he represents in today's world of big time sports and what he stands for in leading young men of today into a more responsible role. He is everything that Ole Miss has never had. I am on his band wagon winning or losing.

Gray pants with red and blue stripes on the legs have served Ole Miss football my entire life time. The blue on blue, red on red and white on white are hideous and UGLY! Leave the pants alone.
