Watson to Revisit His Warrior Days for Charity

Catching Up With C.J. Watson of the Chicago Bulls

Former Tennessee point guard (2003-06) and current Chicago Bulls fan favorite C.J. Watson is taking part in the "We Believe" charity basketball game Nov. 5 at the San Jose State Events Center.

The game, which benefits the Kaiser Permanente Breast Cancer Research Foundation and NBA standout Matt Barnes' Athletes vs. Cancer Foundation, features current and former Golden State Warriors.

Watson played for the Warriors from 2007-10.

"We Believe" was the slogan of Golden State's popular 2006-07 squad, which broke the franchise's 12-year playoff drought and upset the Dallas Mavericks to reach the second round.

Watson, Barnes, Jason Richardson, Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison, Al Harrington and Ike Diogu will represent that popular 2006-07 team during the Nov. 5 exhibition, while Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry, David Lee, Dorell Wright, Jeremy Lin, Charlie Bell, Jeremy Tyler and Lou Amundson are slated to represent the current Warriors.
