University of Tennessee basketball coach Cuonzo Martin along with football seniors Corey Miller (DE) and Byron Moore (DB) will be on-site at Calhoun's On The River in downtown Knoxville for the Vol Network's statewide weekly "Vol Calls" radio program tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Central. Moore, Rivera Honored By CPFA

After an outstanding individual performance against Georgia, RS junior Byron Moore and RS senior Mychal Rivera have been honored by the College Football Performance Awards.

Moore named to the honorable mention defensive back performer of the week list after coming away with his fourth interception of the season and taking it to the endzone for his first pick-six of his career. Moore finished the game with six tackles and a half tackle for loss.

Rivera earned honorable mention tight end performer of the week honors after finishing with a game-high 82 receiving yards on three catches, including a career-best 62 yard catch.

Moore, Brodus Earn Weekly Honors

Junior Byron Moore is quickly becoming one of the top playmakers on the Vol defense and continued to prove that on Saturday, intercepting two passes and recording a career high 10 tackles in Tennessee's 47-26 win over Akron. 

For his effort, Moore was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week by 

Moore also joined junior kicker Derrick Brodus as a College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention Player of the Week. 

Brodus tied the Tennessee single-game scoring record by a placekicker with 17 points after knocking four field goals through the uprights and going a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points in the win over the Zips.
