30th Annual Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony Thursday

The 30th annual Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place Thursday night at the Knoxville Convention Center. Former UT basketball All-America Bernard King is the keynote speaker at the event, and UT athletic department legend Gus Manning is among those to be honored.

Manning, 88, is the "Thanks for the Memories" honoree. Thursday's Knoxville News Sentinel has more HERE.

Stories On Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame Induction

Thursday night will be a special one in town as the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction ceremony. Legendary UT basketball star Bernard King will be the featured speaker. The Tennessean has this story on former Vol Mike Jackson, who will introduce his Vol teammate from 1974-77 King at tonight's ceremony: Ex-Stratford star befriends UT royalty.
