Bartholomew, CP, Thomas Set For NFL Mini Camps

Three former Vols will take part in NFL Rookie Mini Camps this weekend as nine teams open practice. Among the players who will make their debuts with their new teams is first-round draft pick Cordarrelle Patterson with the Minnesota Vikings. 

With the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Thomas will be on hand, although he is still sidelined with a shoulder injury. Thomas also learned on Thursday that he will be wearing No. 70 in aqua and orange. 

The third former Vol in action this weekend will be fullback Ben Bartholomew with the New England Patriots. His signing was officially announced by the team late in the week: Patriots sign 19 Rookie Free Agents

Saturday's Tennessee Football Briefing (1/19/13)

The Vols football coaching staff will be introduced at Saturday's men's basketball game vs. Mississippi State at 4 p.m. 

Also on Saturday, four Vols will play in senior college all-star games. 

At 3 p.m. ET, Ben Bartholomew and Prentiss Waggner will play for the Stars Team in the Raycom College All-Star Classic. The game will air on CBS Sports Net. Bartholomew will be in his familiar No. 39 and Waggner will also wear his UT No. 23. 

At 6 p.m. ET, Herman Lathers and Marsalis Teague will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Lathers will wear No. 55 for the American team while Teague will wear No. 22 for the National team. The game will air on ESPN2.
