After a 2012 season that saw him put up 1,424 yards rushing during the regular season, the second highest of his career, while playing and starting all 16 regular season games in 2012, Arian Foster has been named to USAFootball.com's All-Fundamentals Team.
Foster will take part in his third-straight Pro Bowl earning the start at running back for the AFC. He rushed for 15 touchdowns during the regular season which led all NFL rushers and caught another two. His 17 total touchdowns is also an NFL best. Foster is sixth in the NFL with his 1,424 yards and second in the AFC behind Jamaal Charles. Also this season, Foster has 351 rushing attempts and has fumbled the ball just three times, losing it only twice.
In his first game of the postseason, Foster helped the Texans to a 19-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and in doing so became the first NFL player to record 100+ rushing yards in his first three preseason games. Foster put up 140 yards rushing on 32 attempts and tallied a touchdown while also recording 8 catches for 34 yards out of the backfield. The 425 rushing yards that Foster gained in his first three postseason games is also an NFL record.
Foster also hit the century mark for the eighth game in the 2012 season marking the third-straight season that he has had at least eight 100-yard games.
