100% pure squeezed Tennessee football to get your day started right.

Good morning, #VolNation! With Saturday's Open Practice at Neyland Stadium now in the rear view mirror, Team 119 opened up their third week of fall practice on Monday night at Haslam Field. The evening was highlighted by the removal of two more black stripes as freshman QB Quinten Dormady and freshman quarterback-turned-wideout Jauan Jennings both received the recognition.

Take a look at some of the latest news and notes on the Vols --

1. Jones stuck on the Middle

Tennessee head coach Butch Jones reiterated to The Tennessean just how important recruiting in Middle Tennessee has been to his program. It's no surprise, seeing as the list of mid-staters on the 2015 Vols roster reads a bit like a who's who of Tennessee football: OL Jashon Robertson, DL Derek Barnett, RB Jalen Hurd, DB Rashaan Gaulden, K Aaron Medley, and more.

2. The surprising Jack Jones

With a handful of injuries, bumps, and bruises along the offensive line, Tennessee continues to rotate through a steady batch of players within the unit. One freshman who has stepped up in the wake of these maladies has been freshman Jack Jones, as reported by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

3. Vol position battles

Alex Scarborough of ESPN highlighted Tennessee's ongoing position battles on Monday afternoon, focusing in on the offensive line, defensive line, and linebacker positions.
