This past weekend at the Raleigh Relays, Brycen Spratling had quite the impressive anchor leg of the men's 4x400 meter relay and it is catching attention all around the nation. Take a look at the video, compliments of FloTrack.
Spratling made the outstanding kick after only a short rest period
from his 800 meter performance earlier in the day. Spratling was at a clear
disadvantage when he received the baton to close the race, but managed to make
up for lost time with a 45.37 split, advancing from fourth to the clear winner
of the relay.
The men's 4x4 team of Dustin Fuller, Micah Murray, Josh McDonald and Spratling placed first in their
heat and third overall at the Raleigh Relays with a time of 3:10.24.

also sits at the third fastest time in the world at 1:00.37. Needless to say,
the Pitt junior was named the Male Track Most Outstanding Performer for that

Lawrence, who each, respectively, won the men's and women's 200 meter dash, and
Spratling, Nkanata, Oliver Philongene and Micah Murrah won the 4x400 meter
relay. On Friday evening, Elizabeth Kline became the 10th Pitt

Be sure to check back with Pitt Live Wire later in the week
for a feature on Spratling, including video of his race and interviews.
"We played very well as a team this weekend," said head
coach Joe Jordano. "For us to sweep such a storied program as Wichita State is
a great accomplishment but I know this team is looking forward to getting back
to practice on Tuesday and preparing for our next opportunity."
Congrats to the baseball and track and field teams on their
