The Pitt women's basketball team won the program's first-ever ACC contest on Sunday on the road at Virginia, 79-75. Junior guard Brianna Kiesel was named the ACC Player of the Week for her contribution of an average of 23 points and seven assists in games against Virginia and Florida State. The Pitt women host their first-ever ACC contest this evening as Florida State comes to town for a 7 p.m. tipoff at the Petersen Events Center. Gates to the Petersen Events Center arena will open 1.5
hours prior to tipoff and a free shuttle service begins operating three hours
prior to game time.
