Dick Groat Honored by Pitt and Duke

Just prior to tipoff of Pitt's Monday night game against Duke, Pittsburgh and Duke legend Dick Groat was honored. Mr. Groat not only played for the Pirates from 1952-62, leading them to a World Series Championship in 1960 and earning the NL MVP award in the same year, he is also a basketball hall of fame member after playing for the Blue Devils from 1949-52.

The Zoo is Ready!

We're less than an hour from tipoff, but the Oakland Zoo has been at the Petersen Events Center waiting much, much longer.
