Pitt Live Wire recaps last night's Football Fan Fest with footage and player interviews. With just over one week until kickoff, be sure to take advantage of events leading up to the Youngstown State game at 6 p.m. on Saturday!
Pitt's annual Football Fan Fest will be held tomorrow evening at Heinz Field from 6-8 p.m. The event is always a great opportunity to meet your favorite players and coaches and so much more. In addition to an autograph session, there will be games and activities, appearances by Roc and the cheer and dance teams and performances by the Pitt Band.
Additionally, three fans will have the opportunity to punt, pass and kick for a chance to win $10,000, and Pitt merchandise and tickets will be available for sale. Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan will be broadcasting live on location and any fan who donates blood to the Central Blood Bank at Heinz Field Thursday night will receive two free tickets to the season opener on Sept. 1 against Youngstown State.
Fan Fest is always a great time and a nice opportunity for Pitt staff and players to get to meet you and thank you for your support of the Panthers. We hope you can make it down to Heinz Field on Thursday evening!
Former Pitt quarterback and current Panther radio analyst, Pat Bostick, will offer a weekly column on Pitt Live Wire throughout the football season. This week, Pat gives us insight on the changing look of Pitt's 4-3 defense.
