The 2008 NCBA Collegiate Boxing Championships will crown champions in 12 weight divisions. Competitors are determined through preliminary NCBA-sanctioned fights during the spring of 2008. For information on becoming a member of the NCBA, please contact Mike at MMartino@washoecounty.us event info
The 2008 NCBA Collegiate Boxing Championships will be held at the Downtown Reno Ballroom from April 10-13. The event returns to Reno for the 12th time since the city hosted its first NCBA Championships in 1976.
Boxers will claim titles in the following twelve weight divisions: 112 lbs, 119 lbs, 125 lbs, 132 lbs, 139 lbs, 147 lbs, 156 lbs, 165 lbs, 175 lbs, 185 lbs, 195 lbs and Heavyweight. Additionally, a team championship will be awarded.
